It’s about to officially be spring, so that means lots of sunshine and fun activities outside. But as we all know, those activities start to rack up lots of expenses sometimes so we’ve compiled a few fun events for you and your family to do and they are all FREE!

Activities Near Kansas City
If you haven’t visitied yet, then be sure to go to the Children’s Peace Pavilion in Independence, Missouri. This is a hands-on museum meant to teach children all about peace. With over 25 interactive activities, your kids are sure to be engaged and learn at the same time.
The City Market – It’s the largest farmer’s market in the region and is a great way to get your kids involved in food and even cooking. Come for the tasty treats, pick up some fresh vegetables, and then plan a picnic or dinner together. It’s also just a great place to go for a walk and have plenty to watch and see.
For those with kids who just love animals, check out the Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, which boasts tons of farm animals and fun activities for kids of all ages. Admission is free 2:00 pm to close on Mondays through Thursdays and every day to kids under 2 years.

Activities Around Missouri
If you’re in St. Louis, then plan a visit to the CityGarden. With free admission, you can see sculptures, watch fountains and take in the lush plant life while it’s all in bloom.
