As a social worker who helped women with unexpected pregnancies, I saw that adoptions needed more heart and connection! I created Adoption & Beyond to create genuine connections between birth and adoptive families. Then life threw me the most beautiful plot twist – I became an adoptive mom myself! Talk about on-the-job training!

Whether you live near downtown Overland Park, in the Blue Valley area, near Corporate Woods, around Oak Park Mall, or anywhere else in the city, you’re just minutes away.
We do adoptive home studies all over Overland Park—from established neighborhoods near 75th and Metcalf to newer developments south of 135th Street, from homes near Shawnee Mission Park to areas around Blue Valley schools.
We also serve families throughout Johnson County including Olathe, Leawood, Lenexa, Shawnee, Prairie Village, and Mission, as well as families on the Missouri side in Lee’s Summit, Blue Springs, Independence, Kansas City, and beyond.
