Adoption Success Story Brings News Anchor to Tears

Adoption can be a stressful and uncertain journey, filled with doubt and sudden bumps in the road along the way.

For fourteen-year old Ke’onte Cook from Plano, Texas, the journey to find his adoptive parents, Carol and Scott Cook, wouldn’t have been possible without WFAA-TV anchor Gloria Campos. Gloria shared Ke’onte’s story twice, the first time in 2007 and the second time in 2009, on her news station, as a part of their “Wednesday’s Child” segment.
