November is National Adoption Month

Thousands of teenagers across the country are at risk of aging out of the foster care system without permanent families. This year, the theme for National Adoption Month is “Engage Youth: Listen and Learn” and focuses on the need for families for teens.

During National Adoption Month, it’s time to recognize birth families who make the difficult decision to place their child for adoption, thank foster parents for opening their homes, and celebrate with adoptive families who are able to grow their families through adoption.
