Self-matching, or independently matching your adoption without an agency, is becoming an increasingly popular choice for hopeful adoptive families. It’s usually cheaper and allows you to connect with your expecting family much deeper.

However, we’ve noticed that families going this route often run into two issues: how to create and share their adoption profile and how to avoid scams. At Adoption & Beyond, we offer Self-Matching Adoption Outreach Guidance, whose aim is to help these families:

  • Set up and create a profile
  • Guide them through the self-matching process
  • Help them evaluate potential mothers
  • Advise them on their next steps after they’ve found a match

In my interview with Amanda from My Adoption Coach, we discuss the ins and out’s of self-matching, our Self-Matching Adoption Outreach Service, and more!
