Letter of Introduction
Hello! Thank you for taking time to get to know us as potential adoptive parents. We know this cannot be an easy decision for you. We admire the love and strength that you have for your child in considering adoption. We hope our profile will help you get to know a little about us. We hope you can see just how much love and support we have to give a future child and how excited we are to grow our family through adoption!
"Christina is an amazing person and mother! She is so kind, caring, and always planning fun activities for all of us to participate in. She is very involved in the school PTA, our neighborhood Homeowners Association and loves to be social and interact with other parents and children. Christina is loving, compassionate, and always sticks up for those who may not have the same opportunities as others." - Kyle

Kyle loves with all of his heart, and everything he does revolves around our family. He will work a long day and then come home and play a video game with our son. Everett - Age 6 - Can't wait to be a big brother!
Everett is extremely good-natured and kind-hearted. He asks to help and do “big boy” tasks all the time! Recently, he was scrubbing our countertops with a dish scrubber to be helpful. While his “work” had to be discreetly “undone,” his heart was in the right place! He will be a wonderful helper to a new brother or sister. What’s more is that Everett wants to be a big brother! He asks about it constantly! He can’t wait to share himself and love another member of our family. He loves to “teach” and that quality will translate perfectly with a new sibling.
Everett was a complete surprise! At the time we had him, we did not know about any infertility issues. His pregnancy was considered normal and nothing out of the ordinary. Right before his due date, the doctors discovered he had a heart murmur, and Christina was induced. He was born and was in the NICU for a couple days so the doctors could monitor his heart. After a couple months, his heart healed on its own. Everett was also born with “ptosis,” which is a condition of the eye where his eyelid muscle doesn’t work properly. He has had multiple surgeries in which to remedy this condition. He will continue to have surgeries as he gets older.
When Everett was about 2, we started trying to expand our family. Multiple specialists couldn’t explain why we were having infertility issues. It was not until we tried IVF, and our daughter was stillborn, that we discovered the chromosomal abnormality that Christina had. At that time, we discovered that having more biological children was not an option for us. However, we are grateful for the challenges that we have faced and know that God has been preparing us for expanding our family through adoption. We are so excited to adopt!
