Dear Birthparents,
We want to thank you for taking the time to look at our profile. We cannot even begin
to imagine the feelings that you are faced with during this difficult time. We want you
to know that we have a deep respect for the decision that you have chosen for you and
your child. We invite you to read a little about our lives in order to get to know us.
We are Kip, Amie and Lilly. We have known each other since junior high school. We remained
close friends throughout the years and began dating in 2000. After three years of dating,
we decided to get married in November 2003. Shortly after, we began trying to conceive.
We were blessed to have Lilly in 2006 with the help of fertility treatments. Unfortunately,
further treatments were unsuccessful. Our decision to adopt was easy since Lilly has only made
our desire to be parents stronger. We cannot wait to have another child to share our love with.
About Kip
Kip (30) is a quiet, gentle and loving husband and father. He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys
spending time working outside in the yard, doing home improvement projects, and spending time with our family.
He is a wonderful father to Lilly, and it makes me smile to see them play together. Kip is a superintendent
for a general contractor in the greater Kansas City area.
About Amie
Amie (31) is fun-loving, outgoing and has a great sense of humor. She enjoys reading books, spending time
with family and friends, shopping, walking the dog, and exercising. She also enjoys taking Lilly to music
classes and the neighborhood park. Amie is a wonderful mother and cannot wait to have a new addition to the
family. She works as a pediatric nurse practitioner, and truly loves what she does. She works three days
per week so that she is able to spend more time with Lilly.
About Lilly
Lilly was born in 2006. She is an energetic and playful child whom loves the outdoors. Lilly likes to
go for wagon rides and play in the park. She will make a great big sister to a sibling.
About Pets
Buddy is a four-year-old beagle that we adopted shortly after getting married. He
loves to be around people and is wonderful with children. Buddy accompanies the family
on long walks around the neighborhood and loves to play ball in the backyard.
About Our Home
We live in a family-oriented subdivision in a suburb of Kansas City. Our subdivision has many amenities including:
a pool, park, walking trails, and an elementary school within the subdivision. It also offers festive gatherings many
times a year in order to get to know your neighbors. We spend many of our summer nights visiting with our neighbors
while allowing the children to play together.
Home Life/ Travel
Family time is very important to us. We make a point to sit down with each other every night during dinner.
We also enjoy being outdoors in the summer playing with Lilly, doing yardwork, and going swimming. One of our
favorite things to do as a family is take a walk and stop at the park on the way home.
We also enjoy traveling. We visit our siblings several times a year in various locations. We have also gone to
Florida for the past two years with Amie’s sister and family. We all enjoy the beach, and playing in the sand.
We look forward to making many memories with our children on family vacations.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We want you to know that we promise to share
