Just a few years ago, people would think our meeting was odd or weird, but meeting on-line is now commonplace. We exchanged emails for a few months before making phone contact. We talked nearly six hours every night that first week. For Valentine's Day, we met in Kansas City. Unfortunately, by the time Jennifer's flight arrived from Arizona, Valentine's Day was nearly over. So, we celebrated February 15th as "Jennifer's Day", a tradition we have continued through the years.
Love, laughter, trust, respect, shared family values, honest communication, and a strong faith keep our marriage strong and happy. We have been married for over five years and enjoy doing just about everything together.
About John
John is the smartest person I know. His vast knowledge always amazes me. He is in the process of earning his Masters degree. I admire his willpower and drive to succeed. John is a "give it your all and then 110% more" type of guy. John also has a great sense of humor and keeps me laughing. He finds the positive side of life. John is very loving, and he has the biggest heart of anyone I know.
About Jennifer
Jennifer is very creative. The past year she has focused on photography, and I am amazed at the
talent she has for it. I am so proud of what she has accomplished in her budding photography
business. Our friends claim that our children will be the most photographed children in Kansas.
She has helped me grow as a person and as a husband. Jennifer is loving, selfless, and always
willing to help her friends. She genuinely cares about people. This is why I call her
"My Sweet Wife". Jennifer is great with kids. She is an invaluable asset to the church nursery
where she frequently volunteers. She has become the default babysitter for many of our friends'
kids because they have so much fun when they are with her. Jennifer is my best friend and partner.
About Career
Jennifer is currently a Branch Manager at a Credit Union and works part time as a photographer. Eventually, Jennifer plans to be a stay-at-home mom and continue photography as time allows. John is a Technical Engineering Manager and has worked from his home office for the past several years. John is in the process of finishing his MBA degree.
Home/Neighborhood
We have a happy home and lots of love to share with a child. We recently built a two-story, 4-bedroom home specifically with children in mind. We live in a peaceful subdivision just a few blocks from a great elementary school and playground. We are on a cul-de-sac to minimize traffic. We enjoy block parties, cookouts, pool parties, and watching movies with our neighbors. Several members of our church live in our neighborhood as well as many young families so there will never be a shortage of friends.
Hobbies
Jennifer is into scrapbooking, stamping, and most of all, photography. She likes to spend time with her friends and enjoys traveling with John. John enjoys reading and computers. He is a big NFL fan and likes to watch or go to games with his friends. John is learning web design and loves to travel with Jennifer.
